About The Position

Kardium is seeking a Materials Handler who is primarily accountable for storing, moving and staging materials, monitoring and replenishing POU inventory, ensuring inventory transactions are accurately completed and assisting with inventory cycle counts and inventory variance reconciliation. Support for production is the primary direct accountability. Timely response, organization and attention to detail are keys to success. This opportunity is an on-site work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC.

Requirements

  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a materials handling or inventory control role
  • Highly motivated and organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Attention to detail with capability to analyze complex inventory transaction records
  • Knowledge of and experience working with inventory management systems (Kanban, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of ERP/MRP systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Proficient English communication (written and oral) skills
  • Able to work a flexible schedule when required
  • Occasional physical activity including lifting/carrying boxes up to 40lbs (18kg)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a cleanroom environment is desirable

Responsibilities

  • Identify, label, and store materials in designated warehouse locations in accordance with inventory control procedures
  • Perform accurate inventory transactions in the ERP system, including receipts, transfers, issues, returns, and adjustments
  • Move materials and sub-assemblies safely between warehouse, clean manufacturing, and cleanroom locations
  • Prepare, clean, package, and stage materials for cleanroom entry in compliance with applicable procedures
  • Pick, kit, and stage materials for production work orders and other operational requirements
  • Monitor warehouse stock levels, point-of-use (POU) inventory, and Kanban locations, initiating replenishment activities as required
  • Support warehouse operations related to engineering changes, inventory disposition, and material relocation activities
  • Conduct cycle counts, investigate inventory discrepancies, and assist with inventory variance reconciliation
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure all material movements are properly documented and traceable
  • Assist with receiving, unloading, inspection coordination, and put-away of incoming material shipments
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy, material flow, and process standardization
  • Operate material handling equipment and follow all warehouse safety and housekeeping requirements
  • Provide general warehouse and logistics support as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned
