Materials Handler Nights
About The Position
This position requires evenings and is responsible for stripping trailers that return from the stores. The role involves receiving pallet returns, sorting, stacking, and repairing them as needed. It also includes responsibilities for cardboard and recyclable cross-docking, as well as receiving and redistributing totes. The Materials Handler will process store equipment/engineering returns and shopping cart returns, and is responsible for cleaning the trailers. Additionally, the role involves processing unsaleables and continuities for Reclaim and adhering to all safety policies, procedures, and best practices. Other related duties may be assigned by management.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Satisfactory performance reviews
- Strong communication skills
Responsibilities
- Receiving pallet returns, sorting, stacking, and repairing them if necessary.
- Cardboard cross docking, recyclable cross docking, and tote receiving and redistribution.
- Processing store equipment/engineering returns and shopping cart returns.
- Cleaning the trailers.
- Processing unsaleables and continuities to be sent to Reclaim.
- Adhering to all safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Performing other related duties as assigned by management and adhering to all company policies and procedures.
