About The Position

Receives, stores, and issues hand tools, materials, and equipment by performing the following duties. This role is responsible for issuing tools and equipment to employees, maintaining records of issued and returned items, and locating lost or misplaced tools. The position also involves preparing inventory reports, receiving and storing incoming supplies, and notifying supervisors of shortages. Additionally, the Materials Handler will issue tools, equipment, and supplies, report tool damage, and perform repairs, servicing, and lubrication of tools and equipment. Marking and identifying tools and equipment, as well as performing other temporary duties on a regular basis, are also part of the role.

Requirements

High school education or GED; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be able to pass a 7 Panel Drug Screen.

Responsibilities

Issues tools and equipment to employees and maintains records of tools and equipment issued and returned.
Locates lost or misplaced tools and equipment.
Prepares periodic inventory or maintains perpetual inventory of tools and equipment.
Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming tools and supplies, and notifies supervisor of inventory shortages.
Issues tools, equipment, and supplies and reports tool damage to supervisors.
Repairs, services, and lubricates tools and equipment.
Marks and identifies tools and equipment.
Is assigned to perform other temporary duties on a regular basis.
