Responsibilities
- Delivery of production materials and supplies to a production area to ensure continuous operations of processes and machines.
- Identifying, labeling and placing materials in stock.
- Recording location of material.
- Pulling and verifying material listed in production orders.
- Delivering and opening materials.
- Recording units delivered and location units.
- Loading and unloading materials.
- Organizing materials in the warehouse.
- Operating forklift and other handling equipment.
- Tracking inventory levels.
- Ensuring materials are available on the production floor as needed.
- Receiving and inspecting incoming materials.
- Storing and organizing inventory.
- Retrieving and packaging materials for shipment.
- Documenting deliveries and ensuring correct items are shipped.
