About The Position

This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. This role is for internal candidates only.

Requirements

Must be willing and able to lift and carry 60 pounds.
Must be willing and able to stand, stoop, bend, climb ladders, change work levels, twist, and squat, climb stairs, reach, push, pull and move about the facility.
Must be willing and able to read explicit simple instructions and do required paperwork.
Must be willing and able to visually inspect product.
Must be willing and able to work in extremely cold temperatures.
Must wear the necessary safety equipment.
Have no more than 4 attendance points.
Have had no suspensions within the past 12 months.
Have no more than 2 written warnings in the last 12 months.
Have no lateral, downward, or self-disqualification unless for higher classification for the past 6 months.
New TM’s still in 30 days of probationary period are not eligible to bid.
Probationary TM’s bidding after their first 30 days, must have no more than 2 points.

Responsibilities

Learn product codes, know where product belongs and keep pre-blend cooler organized.
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport raw product to and from coolers and production areas.
Be responsible for weighing and recording the weight of finished ground product.
Perform other duties as assigned.
