About The Position

Member of warehouse operations team. Performs manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and delivering a variety of materials, equipment and aircraft parts in an aircraft manufacturing environment. Reports to Cirrus Materials Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgement and effective communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to effectively manage stress, including competing work demands and multiple projects at the same time.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid Driver’s license a must.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials
  • Knowledge of inventory control
  • Ability to operate and utilize handheld inventory management scanner required
  • Ability to operate computers with the Windows operating system
  • Proficiency with prioritizing and meeting multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
  • Must complete 9 out of the 26 necessary skills and competencies of the Material Handler position.

Nice To Haves

  • Warehouse operations experience preferred, not required
  • Knowledge on aircraft/parts is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Proficient in Production Materials Handler responsibilities plus
  • Company vehicle driving requirements estimated at 10%; must have valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Unpacks, examines, counts and labels incoming material.
  • Records receipts and reports discrepancies.
  • Proficient in receiving, put away, kitting, picking, packing and shipping of goods.
  • Efficiently stocks and organizes parts and inventory in the warehouse to ensure accurate inventory counts and readily accessible materials.
  • Consistently ensures proper product handling and storage to prevent abuse, misuse, damage or deterioration.
  • Obtain, prepare aircraft parts for shipment to the Aftermarket customer base.
  • Maintain an inventory control and management system, including work order closing.
  • Support all facility regulatory and safety codes.
