About The Position

The Materials Handler II assists the production process by ensuring materials are delivered to the assembly line in an organized fashion. The role supports receiving orders, maintaining raw goods inventory counts, and coordinating and managing the movement of goods and materials.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of experience in the area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Locate and pull materials and supplies for production orders, and perform advanced kitting assignments to meet production schedules.
• Receive, store, issue, package, label, and log material inventory.
• Supply the production area with work-in-process (WIP) and raw materials.
• Receive incoming material deliveries and enter material locations into the inventory system; manage inventory databases.
• Receive and verify materials coming into the Material Center from Receiving Inspection and the Shipping Dock for accuracy.
• Conduct regular, ongoing physical inventories and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Support stockroom material requests and vouchers by transferring or adjusting parts in and out of inventory, and packaging, tagging, labeling, and issuing materials to internal customers.
