Materials Handler 1 - Inventory Control Cycle Counter (1st Shift)
About The Position
The Materials Handler 1 performs Cycle Counts and adjustments to monitor and maintain an accurate statement of on-hand inventory and provides accuracy of Distribution Center processes by conducting audits of processes and associates within all phases of Distribution as needed. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 6+ months experience in a distribution center environment
- Detail Oriented
- Flexible and able to multi-task
- Strong communication skills
- Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as requested by Supervisors/Manager
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work in a stand/walk position for up to 10 hours
- Ability to lift up to 65 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with AS400 and SAP
Responsibilities
- Audits areas and processes as required determining associate and process accuracy.
- Verifies outbound shipment accuracy to stores, manufacturing facilities, and distribution centers.
- Performs cycle counts including initial counts, recounts, and researches discrepancies.
- Performs Inventory adjustments and write-offs as required.
- Responsible for any additional duties assigned.
