About The Position

We are seeking a motivated, results-oriented college student to join our team for the fall of 2026. The Carrier co-op experience offers co-ops an environment that provides practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work experience, and the opportunity to apply knowledge and demonstrate strengths in efforts to assist Carrier in achieving its business strategy and supporting development of data center cooling technology. As an Advanced Materials Engineering co-op, you will gain experience to include, but is not limited to, activities and tasks listed below: Maintaining detailed records of testing conducted with detailed measurements of test solutions, environmental conditions, and equipment status. Organizing test documents and providing summarized reports to engineers or internal customers. Conducting additional sample preparation, metallography, and microscopy of tested samples as needed. Coordinating documentation, return to customer, and/or storage of tested samples. Assisting in continuous improvement efforts to increase test reliability and acceleration. Maintaining a safe working environment, following all procedures and PPE requirements.

Requirements

  • Must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree program, majoring in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any Engineering field.
  • Must have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
