About The Position

This role is responsible for a variety of tasks within the materials distribution department, focusing on safety, efficient material handling, accurate inventory management, and timely shipping and receiving. The team member will operate various equipment, process orders, maintain quality standards, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Must hold a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • Ability to operate Forklift, Crane, Yard Truck, Semi Trailers, and Basket Jig safely.
  • Ability to inspect equipment and report if repairs are needed.
  • Ability to stock product and process electronic transfers.
  • Ability to monitor manufacturing orders for due dates and customer packing and shipping instructions.
  • Ability to monitor and complete Material Handler requests.
  • Ability to wrap, band and label finished material for shipment.
  • Ability to pack parts to packing specifications.
  • Ability to maintain quality standards.
  • Ability to complete electronic inventory transactions.
  • Ability to perform cycle counts.
  • Ability to research and resolve inventory inaccuracies.
  • Ability to receive and inspect inbound material for compliance with AI standards.
  • Ability to process inbound parcels and deliver to location.
  • Ability to load outside carriers.
  • Ability to validate and complete shipping documents.
  • Ability to process parcel boxes for shipment.
  • Ability to contribute to department’s Continuous Improvement, 5S, and Quality initiatives by submitting ideas and participating in project implementations.
