About The Position

The Materials Cycle Counter performs accurate counts for the daily cycle count process, records results objectively, completes required documentation according to Cycle Count SOP procedures, and transmits count data using an RF gun scanner. The role follows facility safety guidelines and uses material handling equipment properly and in accordance with OSHA guidelines. The position may include other assigned duties.

The employee must be able to spend extended time in multiple inventory and storage areas, including the spare parts maintenance area, freezer, and dry, raw, and finished goods storage areas. This is a third-shift position.

Requirements

• Maintain an excellent attendance record.
• Successfully pass all safety- and equipment-related training, including forklift training.
• Have excellent communication skills to communicate with team members, supervisors, and people on other shifts.
• Be able to spend extended time in varied areas, including the spare parts maintenance area, freezer, and dry, raw, and finished goods inventory storage areas.
• Be proficient in comprehension and written English.
• Have excellent time management skills.
• Have excellent math skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately count inventory and record daily cycle count results.
• Follow Cycle Count SOP procedures to complete cycle count documentation.
• Use an RF gun scanner to transmit cycle count data.
• Follow facility safety guidelines when accessing shelves, racks, or high storage, and wear required PPE.
• Use material handling equipment properly and in accordance with OSHA guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
