The Material Coordinator responsibilities include buying/planning of stock inventories. Buying responsibilities include sourcing, creating purchase orders, follow-up and confirmation, and expediting deliveries. Planning responsibilities include MRP evaluation, creating purchase requisitions, and troubleshooting planning parameters to provide an optimal situation for managing stock inventories.

Requirements

High School diploma and/or equivalent.
Extensive mill tool knowledge REQUIRED
Must be able to physically lift up to 40 lbs.
Must have current, valid driver’s license and acceptable record at all times.
Written and oral communication skills, both internal and external.
Excellent Customer Service skills
Computer (Microsoft Office - Excel and Word) and SAP skills.
Work closely with other departments or business units.
Analytical skills, objectivity and organizational skills.
Goal-oriented with the ability to multi-task under pressure in fast-paced work environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience with PVF and MRO supplies a Plus

Responsibilities

Service existing accounts.
Responsible for the processes as well as administrative and operations functions.
Interact with both customers and vendors to complete sales orders and follow them through the invoicing process.
Provide technical sales support and product consulting to customers.
Cultivate and grow customer base.
Perform warehouse and/or driver duties, when required and other duties assigned.
