Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Materials Coordinator located in Dallas, Texas . Reporting to the Planning Supervisor , the Materials Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of materials among departments to ensure production schedules and deadlines are met. Shift : 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working in a warehouse/ manufacturing setting
  • 1 + years’ experience in planning, customer service, production, inventory, logistics or expediting
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office ( especially Excel and Outlook)
  • Experience with MRP/ERP System s preferred
  • Able to type 120 WPM preferred
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Periods of standing, walking, and sitting at a desk using a computer
  • Must wear PPE, such as gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, and ear protection, while working on the production floor

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Buyers and Planners to ensure material needs of production are met
  • Follow up with vendors and buyers regarding lead times for materials and obtain tracking information; coordinate delivery dates, as needed
  • Follow up on any items showing short by working with p urchasing and engineering to get a resolution in place
  • Update the status of the materials and ETAs in the ERP system
  • Notify appropriate internal teams (project managers, production managers, etc.) of any issues and material shortages that could potentially affect production
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
