Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience with competent skills in Excel preferred.
  • Experience in material coordination is preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand Bills of Materials
  • Experience using manufacturing database of spreadsheet/word processors applications
  • Ability to interact with other departments and customers
  • Safety Conscious.
  • Willing to input process improvements.
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Desire to apply what is needed to complete assigned projects promptly with attention to detail.
  • Accustomed to repair shop environments and elements.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure parts are moved through work centers with emphasis on working to a list of targeted items by schedulers.
  • Verify paperwork and part location in Work In Progress (WIP).
  • Interface with warehouse on job shortages.
  • Support schedulers with work center data clean-up.
  • Perform other work related tasks as assigned.
  • Comply with all NOV company and HSE policies and procedures.
  • Identify and transport goods and materials to work centers specified on preprinted routing documents and as directed by management personnel.
  • Responsible for the organization of storage racks as required to support production requirements.
  • Perform part verification for all projects using Engineered BOMs.
  • Communicate with Supervisors and Planners for project part shortages.
  • Operate cranes, hoists, and forklifts safely and responsibly.
  • Consistently works in a manner to maintain quality of workmanship and product.
