ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Monitors and achieves inventory control through accurate receipt, storage, retrieval and timely delivery of goods; shipments & transferring of materials; document recording and data entry into ERP system. Support and sustain implementation of warehouse mobility hardware and software by performing and monitoring the accuracy of inventory transactions. Maintain inventory accuracy through conducting routine physical counts; reconciling variances; inputting data and thorough investigations. Identify areas of improvement and establish or adjust existing work procedures and practices for all warehouse functions. Monitors and manages the inventory transactions' accuracy of all materials into the warehouse department; ensures materials are staged for counting and inspection; ensures receiving reports accurately report material received. Resolve inventory discrepancies with the proper departments (i.e. accounting, engineering) regarding cycle counts, bills of materials (BOM), or other issues. Plans, organizes, monitors, directs and oversees the safe receipt, production, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of materials and products. Ensure that all inventory locations and items are identified with the proper labeling techniques. Ensures a smooth and consistent operation so parts and materials are located, kitted, staged and distributed in an efficient / effective manner to satisfy internal and external customer requirements. Support the production line for inventory shortages, root cause analysis of issues, and look ahead to see if the line will be out of a part. Compare packing lists to company purchase orders and ensure that the products in each delivery match the packing list Prepare purchase requisitions for miscellaneous shops suppliers, tools and items. Ensures workplace health and safety requirements are met and upheld, while taking responsibility for the security of warehouse assets and ensures compliance to all requirements. Other duties as assigned SUPERVISORY FUNCTIONS: Leads and coordinates daily activities of assigned Production Facilitators, Material Coordinators, and Material Handlers. Provides orientation, training, and assistance to cross functional teams in their daily tasks. Builds, motivates and retains a team that consistently meets deadlines and support the goals of the organization. QUALIFICATIONS Typically requires up to 5 years of experience. Requires basic knowledge of discipline. Uses established procedures to solve standard, straight-forward problems. Has the ability to perform routine assignments based on detailed instructions/past practices. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma and 5-7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience COMPUTER SKILLS Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access & Outlook, Syteline, Warehouse Mobility software. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must successfully complete Will-Burt's tow motor certification.
