About The Position

As a Compliance Engineer/Technologist, you will be an integral team member of a critical business function and a rapidly expanding discipline. This role will be responsible for executing strategic, proactive enterprise-wide activities to achieve and maintain material compliance with global regulations. This will require regulatory interpretation, data management, documentation, and cross functional work for products and materials.

Requirements

Working knowledge of materials regulations
Ability to interpret regulatory frameworks and technical documentation
Strong attention to detail and organization skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks independently
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental, Chemical, Environmental Science or a closely related discipline; or equivalent in experience
2-5+ years of related work experience in compliance testing, regulatory compliance, sustainability, or environmental science-related field

Responsibilities

Execute compliance activities related to regulations such as Prop65, REACH, RoHS, TSCA, PFAS
Evaluate BOMs and materials for compliance status and risk
Support lifecycle compliance for new product development and sustaining products
Interpret and apply global regulations to products, components, and suppliers
Prepare compliance documentation, reports, and declarations for internal and external use
Monitor and track regulatory changes and assess potential impacts
Coordinate with suppliers, labs, and regulatory bodies for compliance verification
Collaborate with engineering, sourcing, and quality teams to resolve basic compliance issues
Perform special projects and other duties as needed
