The Materials Attendant is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming materials and equipment. This role ensures efficient and accurate record-keeping for the receipt, storage, and distribution of supplies and equipment. The attendant prepares, distributes, and transports supplies and equipment to various facilities and departments, and fulfills issue requisitions and customer requests. Additionally, the role involves maintaining inventory levels, performing issues and credits, replenishing specialty carts and kits, and managing the return of materials to vendors. The Materials Attendant also maintains the security, orderliness, and cleanliness of working areas, checking for and removing outdated or damaged materials.
