About The Position

The Materials Associate is responsible for managing the receiving, inventory, and shipping of materials within the warehouse. This role involves accurately processing shipments, maintaining inventory records, organizing warehouse locations, and ensuring efficient material flow. The associate will also be involved in package shipping and disposals, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment and communicating any issues to management.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
  • Ability to work an 8-hour shift
  • Closed-toe shoes required
  • Discretion is required due to potential access to confidential customer materials.
  • Regular communication with supervisors and team members is required.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years of warehouse experience
  • Forklift operation

Responsibilities

  • Receive all shipments within 24 hours of delivery, checking expected arrivals and adding parameters.
  • Receive shipments in VeraCore (inventory management system) and assign location(s).
  • Review Product Backorders to determine quantities and locations for receiving.
  • Print a placard for each receipt.
  • Work with Materials Coordinators to put away receipts per placards in warehouse locations.
  • Unload and sign for shipments.
  • Communicate via email with CSRs/Service/Office regarding materials not in the system.
  • Merge/Move Units Physically and in VeraCore.
  • Assist in cycle counts and resolve cycle count discrepancy issues.
  • Work with the Fulfillment Assistant Manager when necessary to move products in VeraCore.
  • Ship packages via USPS, UPS, and FedEx.
  • Handle disposals.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Keep the office informed of any inconsistencies or issues.
  • Maintain staging bins, including labels and locations, and keep the area clean and organized.
