About The Position

The PC&L Associate is responsible for loading and unloading materials to and from production lines, storage areas, and trailers. The operator is responsible for following the job responsibilities within the plant and/or warehouse while operating in a fast-paced environment: Loads product, unloads product, receives product, ship’s product, moves materials at elevated heights, and issues material using system transactions. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • 3 months of Powered Industrial Truck experience required
  • Knowledge of SAP/ERP systems preferred
  • Experience in fast paced industrial lean environment preferred
  • Knowledge of SAP Inventory software; Excel Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.

Nice To Haves

  • Active Forklift Certification License preferred

Responsibilities

  • Loads product, unloads product, receives product, ship’s product, moves materials at elevated heights, and issues material using system transactions.
  • Safely operates all equipment to which the individual is certified (ex): Sit-down Forklifts Stand Up Lifts (Both Reach and Pacer) Tuggers Electric Jacks
  • Reads and understands work instructions and/or follows oral instructions to execute the material flow requirements.
  • Manually loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, baskets, and shelves on foot and by hand as required.
  • Accurately and timely enters materials transactional information into SAP and other systems as required.
  • Reads electronic and manual bill of materials, pull sheets, pick sheets to retrieve and deliver necessary materials for operations.
  • Support 5S / Housekeeping activities as required.
  • Use appropriate deviation areas, hold tags, to process defective parts through nonconforming material procedure.
  • Loads/Unloads materials into trailers adhering to Dock Safety Protocol.
  • Meet physical logistics KPI’s, Associate Engagement and Teamwork.
  • Adherence to FIFO standards throughout all storage areas and material flow points.
  • Wear all required PPE and follow box cutting safety protocols.
  • All employees are responsible for knowing, understanding, and complying with the safety policies and procedures.
