The Materials Associate is responsible for processing transactions accurately and timely related to the receiving of physical goods from suppliers, returned goods from customer departments, stock replenishments, and the filling of customer orders. This role involves executing transactions within the management system, utilizing both PC and RF scanner technologies, and verifying all documentation for thoroughness and accuracy. The associate will operate powered and non-powered equipment safely, transport and store goods to prevent damage, and supervise the receiving and distribution of equipment and supplies. Ensuring equipment and supplies are handled, stored, and maintained in a secure environment is crucial. The role also includes removing non-functional equipment and supplies from service, reporting problems, inspecting working and storage areas for cleanliness and order, and adhering to all safety regulations, including OSHA. A daily inspection checklist for powered equipment may be required.
