This Part-Time Materials Associate position is responsible for processing transactions accurately and timely related to the receiving of physical goods from suppliers, returned goods from customer departments, stock replenishments, and the filling of customer orders. The role involves executing transactions within the management system, utilizing both PC and RF scanner technologies, and verifying documentation for thoroughness and accuracy. The associate will operate powered and non-powered equipment safely, transport and store goods to prevent damage, and supervise the receiving and distribution of equipment and supplies. Responsibilities also include ensuring equipment and supplies are handled, stored, and maintained in a secure environment, removing non-functional items from service, reporting issues for corrective action, and maintaining clean and orderly working and storage areas. Safety compliance with department, System, and OSHA regulations, along with good housekeeping practices, is essential. A daily inspection checklist is required when using any powered equipment.
