About The Position

We are looking for a technical individual with a data analytics/data science background to apply their skills supporting restricted substance engineers (RSE) and data system owners to gather, clean, normalize, and model compliance data, enabling regulatory compliance and meeting evolving data demands. Ideal candidates have familiarity with material and chemical data (associated with Consumer Electronics preferred), including identification of attributes related to compliance regulations. Candidates should be able to organize and track data inputs from multiple sources, merging into single data sources, and generating analytics and visualizations to meet stakeholder (RSE and system owner) needs. A typical day would include (but not limited to): Collecting datasets from engineering partners and source data systems, identifying key compliance attributes (with stakeholder input), performing data merging (manual, and system assisted), generating data analytic and visualization outputs, and establishing documentation to support audit preparedness. Candidates have to work exceptionally well in a fast pace environment, multitasking to support various compliance needs.

  • Inform key decision making related to scope and impact future regulations on existing and future products
  • Generate tracking data on progress towards phase out targets and goals for restricted and reportable substances
  • Enable subject matter experts to generate robust risk assessments
  • Provide flexible support to changing regulatory landscape, supporting adhoc data analytics
  • Optimizes stakeholder prioritization of greatest impact compliance areas
