For this position, we are seeking an energetic, motivated candidate who is qualified to be a Senior Materials Analyst. This includes, but is not limited to, processing parts at induction, production, and quick engine change (QEC). This position is for first shift, however, as we ramp up you may need to work second shift. Some overtime and weekend work will be required in support of business objectives and deadlines.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of professional experience; or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
2+ years of SAP experience required.
Must be able to work second shift if the Air Logistics Center requires additional shifts to be covered.
Must be able to work some overtime and weekends as required.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.

Nice To Haves

3+ years of experience in materials or other aviation industry experience preferred.
Supply chain, logistics, or purchasing/contracts experience in other industries is also acceptable.
Experience with SAP.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and PowerPoint to capture, analyze, and present on data.
The ability to work in cross-functional teams on a wide variety of tasks and with limited supervision.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with all levels of the business and customers.

Responsibilities

Coordinating the parts ordering and tracking process on the shop floor.
Using SAP to reconcile parts, coordinate part swaps, exchanges, reconcile Kit Carts, perform research on material, process orders, and navigate transactions to resolve recurring issues.
Monitor inventory levels against agreed target levels.
Participate in material review meetings, update weekly and monthly statuses for materials, and be able to talk to specific issues within the HMC.
Research and locate material within the Illustrated Parts Data.
Assist with reconciliation activities to ensure that all part requirements identified at the close of Gate 1 (disassembly) are recorded and accurate.
Track all material required for Gate 2 (parts requirements) for kitting and ensure kitting is completed in a timely manner.
Provide materials support for Gate 3 (assembly) and Gate 4 (Test Cell).
Interface with Operations Personnel and others in the F117 Materials Department on a daily basis for other support tasks as required.
Participate in ACE events, teams, committees, events, training that improve the HMC organization and support achieving Cell and Site ACE objectives.
Implement continuous improvement projects for the F117 Materials section.
Coordinate with delivery assurance personnel and our Third Party Logistics (3PL).
SAP power user or more proficient.
Meetings in absence of Manager.
Research of materials in SAP.
Kitting schedule, and alignment of production schedule with the HMP scheduler.
Provide material resolutions on Shop floor for ALC, HMC and Quality Leadership.
Entry & research of KPI metrics and entry.
Gate-4 support, production of hand-receipts, and monitoring of RS materials.
Reports and identify material shortfalls.
Active Configurator understanding.
Hot Shot request approval.
Bypass Controls.
Liaison with ALC leads daily.
ACE Associate plus actively working Practitioner
Detailed training and research instruction for P2 personnel.
Conduct technical training events for SAP.
Maintain and creates F117 Work Instructions.
