Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred and/or equivalent and relevant work experience.
  • A minimum of (3) three years’ relevant experience is required.
  • ADVANCED EXCEL SKILLS (V/X LOOK-UPS, PIVOT TABLES etc.).
  • ERP/WMS/STREME proficiency (SAP Preferable).
  • Proven skill in using data to make fact-based decisions and drive business cases approvals.
  • Skilled in Materials Flow Process Development.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and follow-up skills.
  • Exceptional customer interfacing skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Automotive and/or Logistics/ Supply Chain background to include proficiency in Third Party Services including Part Sequencing, JIT, JIS Value-added, Sub-Assembly, Kitting, Repack, Deconsolidation, and Bulk and Small Lot Metering is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Position will report directly to the Plant Materials Manager.
  • Responsible for the analysis and extraction of data in determining trends and impacts on plant materials operations.
  • Analyze and track data with regard to inventory discrepancies and report findings to senior management.
  • Responsible for crafting effective storytelling through data and by turning technical information into easy-to-understand non-technical action items.
  • Able to take a business question or need and turn it into a process design and/or data question for the purpose of transforming functions and analyzing data to extract an answer or resolution to that question or need.
  • Responsible for projects and products management dealing with operational performance metrics tracking, predictive and prescriptive analytics, financial impacts of inventory analytics other ad hoc requests.
  • Partners with the Business Intelligence line of business in utilizing data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) to create reports resulting in driving remedial action, as well as assisting in the development of monitoring of the metrics.
