About The Position

Perform various quality inspections and preparations under supervision. Support the continuous improvement and all CORE and EH&S initiatives, including wearing required personal protective equipment. Operate powered industrial vehicles (PIVs). Refer difficulties to Supervisor or Team Leader. May be assigned to tasks not specifically listed within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives and to develop individual skills. Ability to perform field calls, sample prep activities, and alloy change quality checks under an approved trainer.

Requirements

HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) with a minimum of 1-year relevant experience
Must have a good attendance record
Must have strong communication skills
Must be able to work from heights – up to 60’
Must be able to wear a respirator
Must have strong mechanical aptitude
The position requires ascending, descending stairs, standing for extended periods, bending, squatting, twisting, overhead reach, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
