About The Position
SierTeK Ltd. is seeking a Material Support Technician to support an opportunity at Hill AFB in Utah. This role involves coordinating material requirements, retrieving and delivering materials, performing turn-in transactions for IPV bench stock and DIFM items, and supporting FOM programs. The technician will also handle demand history adjustments and manage the process of unpacking parts for repair, transporting them to shops, and repacking and transporting them back after repair.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Relevant prior experience.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate material requirements with other production support personnel to reduce/turn-in excess serviceable/unserviceable material.
- Retrieve and deliver material to appropriate entities.
- Perform turn-in transactions for Integrated Prime Vendor (IPV) bench stock.
- Perform turn-in operations/documentation for Due In For Maintenance (DIFM) items.
- Support Facilitate Other Maintenance (FOM) programs.
- Perform Demand History Adjustment (DHA).
- Unpack parts, transport to the shops for repair, after repair, repack the parts and transport to Supply.
