About The Position

The Material Support Agent processes orders and parts for Hawaiian Airlines. This individual contributor, union-represented role requisitions, receives, ships, warehouses, stores, disperses, and records parts, equipment, and supplies. The role is based at Seattle and requires flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Ability to learn and operate TRAX and other computer systems as necessary.
• Must be able and willing to train and pass forklift certification.
• Ability to type 30 words per minute.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, reach, and grasp.
• Valid, unexpired driver's license issued by a U.S. state, U.S. territory, or the District of Columbia.
• Flexible to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum age of 18.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid SIDA badge.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with TRAX.
• Prior experience with inventory management.
• Experience in lean or other continuous improvement environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare required documents and enter transactions in the Maintenance Inventory Management System (TRAX).
• Receive, unload, unpack, check, and identify incoming material.
• Store parts and material after ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
• Process outgoing material.
• Assemble kits required for aircraft checks.
• Perform monthly shelf-life checks and physical inventory counts.
• Perform other related duties as required.
