About The Position
Finning Canada is seeking a Warehouse Person (Material Supply Assistant), who will be responsible for general shipping/receiving and warehousing duties at our facility in Mildred Lake. If you are a safety conscious team player, self-motivated and detail-oriented, Finning may be the opportunity for you.
Requirements
- High school diploma (Grade 12)
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to successfully work under minimal supervision
- A strong commitment to safety is imperative
Nice To Haves
- TDG and WHMIS certification, coupled with forklift training will be considered assets
- Previous warehousing and core inspection experience, as well as computer literacy are also desired
- Forklift training, and experience working with radio frequency and bar-coding technology would be assets
Responsibilities
- Picking customer and branch parts orders
- Packing and labeling parts orders for shipment
- Sorting and binning incoming stock
- Loading and unloading of the parts trucks
