As a Material Storage & Retrieval employee with John Deere Reman in Springfield, MO, you will perform material storage & retrieval related duties in a production environment focused on safety, quality, and teamwork. Job details are dependent on duties assigned but in general consist of the following: Operate power driven equipment such as forklifts and industrial trucks to move material, parts, and equipment. Stock and pick raw materials to support production teams. Read Bill of Material (B.O.M) to determine alternate uses and identify slow moving material. Distribute and maintain inventory across production facility. Read and comprehend work instructions and follow established procedures. Assist and support other team members. Clean work area and perform other miscellaneous duties inherent to the job.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High School Diploma or G.E.D. OR National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) OR At least 3 years of manufacturing work experience
Ability to perform manual tasks related to described job duties for duration of work shift; including but not limited to frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), and performing of repetitive actions.
Ability and willingness to work any shift and potential overtime (including weekends).

Nice To Haves

Current experience as a contingent worker of at least 60 days in a similar role at John Deere Reman - demonstrating strong performance and attendance.
