About The Position

A Material Stocker uses industrial equipment in handling and transferring material. This role involves accurately interpreting pallet paperwork and labels, maintaining familiarity with plant layout and stock locations, and safely using a pallet jack. The stocker will also enter plant receipt reports into a computerized database, receive and stock materials in correct locations, and identify all cabinet parts, components, and stock locations. Maintaining a safe work environment, including housekeeping, is also a key responsibility. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to identify cabinet types, wood species, finishes, and color variances
• Ability to identify and process damaged or flawed material in lieu of stocking it
• Ability to use basic math concepts and read a standard tape measure
• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
• Frequent bending, crouching, pulling, and pushing
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 20lb, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lb
