About The Position

The Material Specialist will be responsible for coordinating the daily issuance of alloy to the foundry, performing physical alloy inventories, and processing and segregating revert material. This role also involves maintaining the alloy and revert cribs for organization and cleanliness, cutting and welding changes as needed, and managing the master heat database for production, P/N's, and engineering special lots. The specialist will also clean pipe in ingots, act as a backup for other alloy technicians, and assist the Foundry with supplies inventory control.

Requirements

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Well organized and able to self direct daily activities.
• Capable of strenuous physical activity associated to revert and alloy handling.
• Capable of handling ingots of up to 100 pounds.
• Must be capable of being on call for alloy related issues.
• Flexibility in hours.
• Available for weekend coverage as foundry cast schedule dictates.

Nice To Haves

• Towmotor experience preferred.

Responsibilities
