About The Position

The Material Specialist is responsible for coordinating product delivery to ensure manufacturing has raw materials on hand at the facility.

Bachelor’s degree
2-3 years of work experience
Must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize-approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators.
Employees who are required to wear respirators must be clean-shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.

Records all inter-site movement of raw materials daily.
Responsible for ensuring all original, hard copy BOLs from 3M, Gillibrand, OMYA, and Trumbill are entered in the software system daily with input on production schedule data.
Communicates with the manager when schedule changes have been made using the schedule notification process.
Reviews product schedules to coordinate raw material delivery, making decisions on the most cost-effective/ timely mode.
Arranges with vendors directly to ensure manufacturing has raw material on hand.
Works closely with the corporate office, coordinating appropriate delivery of materials as necessary.
