The Paslin team at our Pontiac Plant is seeking a Material Scheduler/Planner to manage BOM integrity, work order creation, and production scheduling within Dynamics AX. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing operations.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years in a similar role and related field.
Proficiency with ERP systems (Microsoft AX preferred)
strong computer literacy
excellent multitasking, organization, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Prior manufacturing experience with tool build and automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) in Dynamics AX, ensuring alignment with physical builds, including part numbers, quantities, and orientation requirements
Ensure complete and accurate ERP documentation to support cross-functional execution
Classify components by size, geometry, and material to optimize sourcing and production strategies
Evaluate make/buy decisions based on capacity, timing, and program requirements
Validate and control engineering revision levels to ensure alignment with production
Establish and maintain item coverage settings to support uninterrupted material flow
Create, release, and manage work orders for fabricated parts, assemblies, and tooling
Collaborate with data analytics to develop and maintain production schedules aligned to customer delivery timelines
Partner with Project Management and customers to resolve BOM or design discrepancies and minimize production disruptions
