Requirements

Intermediate blueprint reading knowledge and the ability to follow the work order instructions.
Ability to properly use material processing tools and machines such as drill presses, punches, saws, and layout tools.
Team player - must be able to communicate and work with others.
Must have and maintain a high sense of urgency to meet and exceed all production goals.
Attentive to detail watching for material defects and any quality issues.
Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching and twisting throughout shift.
Capable of repetitively lifting 25-50 lbs.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
1-3 experience processing material in a manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

Prior manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
Any technical or vocational education/training in relation to skills listed below is also desirable.
Forklift, overhead crane and man lift experience preferred (in-house training available).
Prior machine operation experience desirable.

Responsibilities

Machine operation, cutting, sawing, drilling, tapping, grinding parts, prepping kits, and lay-outs to meet our customer specifications.
Visually inspecting parts.
Follows all plant safety guidelines, practices and procedures.
Be aware of activity in the work surroundings and maintain a clean and safe work area.
Properly use personal protective equipment when required.
Maintain regular attendance – have reliable means of transportation.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
