Material Processor/Equipment Operator
About The Position
CFC Recycling has a full-time position open for a Material Processor/Equipment Operator. This is an outdoor-only role that can be physically demanding. The ideal candidate does not mind physical work in all weather conditions and has experience operating heavy equipment such as loaders, forklifts, and skid steers. The position requires bending, twisting, standing, and lifting up to 100 pounds. The candidate must be able to take and follow directions easily, work in a moderate to fast-paced environment, and possess good communication skills. The role involves loading and moving material from the shredder to other areas, including loading and unloading trucks. The candidate must be able to multitask, stay focused to complete daily goals, and work both independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of recycled metals and the ability to identify various metals is preferred. The role requires monitoring gauges, hoses, belts, screens, and hammers, and replacing them as needed. Adherence to all OSHA and workplace safety guidelines and procedures is mandatory. This position requires daily equipment inspections and general housekeeping of the work environment to meet all safety policies and procedures. General labor duties include shoveling, cleaning, preventative maintenance, and other necessary equipment maintenance when needed. This is a Monday-Friday position with the flexibility to work later when needed and the ability to work on Saturdays when needed. The ability to work in extreme environments, including dust, loud noises, and all weather conditions, is essential.
