About The Position

This Material Planning Coordinator (MPC) role is a full-time, onsite position at a BAE Systems facility, requiring 100% in-person work. The MPC will support the Sustainment Depot located at MER24, focusing on work order releases, material support, and documentation maintenance within the Sustainment factories. The primary goal is to ensure manufacturing schedules and Operations commitments are met or exceeded by supporting the internal flow of material, kits, and manufactured hardware. The MPC is also responsible for responding to material shortages caused by lost, damaged, or defective material to prevent work stoppages. Accurate record-keeping is crucial, involving updating applicable systems to provide product status to the Supply Chain Planner. Daily tasks will involve utilizing system applications such as Oracle, Solumina, Dataview, PLM, and TIPQA. The individual in this role is expected to become proficient with these systems.

Requirements

  • Typically a High School Diploma and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a Team
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance (if do not already have one)

Nice To Haves

  • Oracle or other ERP system experience
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications
  • Active Security Clearance
  • Experience working in a Depot environment

Responsibilities

  • Perform work order releases
  • Provide material support
  • Conduct documentation maintenance activities within the Sustainment factories
  • Support the internal flow of material, kits, and manufactured hardware to ensure that manufacturing schedules and Operations commitments are met or exceeded
  • Respond to material shortages due to lost, damaged or defective material in order to prevent work stoppages in areas of responsibility
  • Maintain accurate records by updating applicable systems that provide status of product to the Supply Chain Planner
  • Utilize system applications such as Oracle, Solumina, Dataview, PLM and TIPQA to perform daily tasks
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required
