About The Position

Flex is seeking a Material Planning Analyst to join their team in Milpitas, CA. This role supports the materials and purchasing data, provides data to production departments, coordinates contracts, maintains supplier Certificates of Conformance, and creates/maintains outsourced parts schedules. The analyst will run Clear to Build using Kinaxis (Rapid Response), resolve material shortages, manage MRB, and handle E&O maintenance and analysis to facilitate revenue and ITO goals.

Requirements

Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent experience.
7 years of experience in materials or related fields.
Expected MRP & MRB experience.
BOM Knowledge.
Background in electronics manufacturing is desired.

Responsibilities

Maintain materials/purchasing data.
Supply data and information to other production departments.
Coordinate contracts.
Maintain Certificates of Conformance for all suppliers.
Create and maintain outsourced parts schedules.
Run Clear to Build using Kinaxis (Rapid Response) for the build plan.
Resolve material shortages MRB management and disposition.
E&O maintenance and analysis.
Facilitate revenue and ITO goals.
Assist in auditing data for accuracy and preparing summary reports, spreadsheets, graphics and charts based on research.
Collect, compile, and present various types of data.
Prepare summary reports, spreadsheets, and charts based on research from multiple sources.
Create and/or maintain databases with the help of data collection.
Audit data and resolve data integrity issues, including quotations.
Proactively identify and escalate potential issues related to metrics.
Suggest process/communication improvements related to metric tracking activities.
Track materials financial performance and initiate corrective actions.
Daily review of RMA transactions.
Create weekly purchase orders including all client parts.
Receive data entry for clients.
Update content list and item master.
Prepare DPT packing list for LCAD repairing.
Manage window to client material (consigned parts) supply.
Manage window to client bulk RMA service.
Hold up inventory control, supply chain management, material planning and scheduling.
Develop commodity spend profiles/breaks-downs: guide time profiling, inventory positioning, and site execution to price.
Establish common pricing research tools.
Provide detailed bill of materials research by site.
Perform general reporting and activities for score carding of suppliers.
Validate site pricing through implementation of a common cost review and pricing process.
Assist in the supply chain transfer and risk management for NPI.
Provide PPV targeting, tracking and asset speed.
Design, manage and control all data research tools.
