Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Material Planning Analyst located in Milpitas, CA. The potential candidate would be in charge of maintaining materials/purchasing data, supply data and information to other production departments, coordinate contracts, maintain certificates of conformance for all suppliers, and create and maintain outsources parts schedules.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in materials management and product development or related field
  • A background in electronics/Electrical engineering manufacturing is desired

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining materials/purchasing data
  • Maintaining supply data and information to other production departments
  • Coordinating contracts
  • Maintaining certificates of conformance for all suppliers
  • Creating and maintaining outsources parts schedules
  • Assisting in auditing data for accuracy and preparing summary reports, spreadsheets, graphics and charts based on the research of data
  • Assisting in the preparation of recommendations to management based on the research of data
  • Collecting, compiling, and presenting various types of data
  • Preparing summary reports, spreadsheets, and charts based on research of data from multiple sources, which may include but will not be limited to customer bills of material reports, staff metrics, PPV metrics, and PPV form tracking
  • Creating and/or maintaining databases in help of data collection
  • Auditing data
  • Resolving data integrity issues, including but not limited to quotations
  • Proactively identifying and escalating potential issues related to metrics
  • Suggesting process/communication improvements relative to metric tracking activities
  • Tracking materials financial performance and initiate corrective actions when required
  • Daily review of RMA transactions
  • Creating weekly purchase orders including all client parts
  • Receiving data entry for clients
  • Updating content list and item master
  • Preparing DPT packing list for LCAD repairing
  • Managing window to client material (consigned parts) supply and bulk RMA service
  • Holding up inventory control, supply chain management, material planning and scheduling
  • Developing commodity spend profiles/breaks-downs: guide time profiling, inventory positioning, and site execution to price
  • Establishing common pricing research tools
  • Providing detailed bill of materials research by site
  • Performing general reporting and activities for score carding of suppliers
  • Validating site pricing through implementation of a common cost review and pricing process
  • Assisting in the supply chain transfer and risk management for NPI
  • Providing PPV targeting, tracking and asset velocity
  • Designing, managing and controlling all data research tools
