Lucid's Material Planning team supports production readiness by helping ensure the right parts are available at the right time for manufacturing operations. The team partners closely with Supply Chain, QA/QC, Manufacturing, Packaging, and Material Flow Engineering to identify material risks, resolve shortages, and protect production flow. This role has a direct impact on daily plant execution, using data, cross-functional coordination, and rapid problem solving to keep operations moving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Material Planning Analyst is an individual contributor role that reports to a Supply Chain or Material Planning leader. This role exists to strengthen visibility, accountability, and response time across material planning activities that support production continuity. In the first 12 months, this person will own reporting, risk monitoring, shortage resolution support, and data integrity improvements that help reduce material disruptions and improve planning accuracy. Success will be measured by timely risk escalation, reliable KPI reporting, stronger cross-functional alignment, and improved confidence in material planning data. A strong candidate will gain hands-on exposure to production-critical planning decisions in an electric vehicle manufacturing environment where their analysis directly supports plant execution and operational performance.
