We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this, we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work hand-in-hand with our customers. The Mission Capability Verification Center within Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities is searching for a Manufacturing Planner to manage and lead acquisitions for our Test Equipment team at White Sands Missile Range, NM. Support needs may occur over weekends or holidays, and may require extended hours. This position is an Onsite role at WSMR located in White Sands, NM. The Material Planner will resolve test equipment and prototype manufacturing issues based on knowledge of engineering design, need, and final intended application. This role includes generating and monitoring the progression of multiple requisitions through the procurement cycle, facilitating resolution of procurement issues, and ensuring items are delivered to meet customers’ schedules. The Material Planner will utilize Engineering Manufacturing Management System (EMMS) and MatTrack to build/maintain indentured build of materials (IBOMS), generate material requisitions, and provide material/work order status to customers.
