Requirements

  • Proficiency in managing tool inventories, preventive maintenance, and usage tracking systems to ensure accuracy, accountability, and minimal tool-related downtime.
  • Effective communicator who works closely with production, maintenance, and finance teams to align material needs, budgets, and improvement initiatives.
  • Commitment to identifying process inefficiencies, implementing lean practices, and developing innovative solutions that enhance productivity and reduce costs.

Responsibilities

  • Reduce MRO spending by 25% by December 31, 2026 through improved inventory control, supplier consolidation, preventive maintenance planning, and approval tracking, while maintaining required production uptime and critical spare availability.
  • Achieve and maintain a minimum 95% on-time delivery rate from suppliers in this category by Q4 2026 through supplier scorecards, weekly delivery performance reviews, and escalation procedures for late or incomplete shipments.
  • Consolidate MRO vendors under the existing vending machine agreement by Q3 2026 to improve purchasing efficiency and inventory control, while maintaining current quality standards and preventing any increase in overall material costs through supplier evaluations and competitive pricing reviews.
  • Reduce non-inventory and non-standard item purchases by 20% by December 31, 2026 through alignment with the engineering team, standardized tooling requirements, repair process reviews, and improved approval controls to ensure all items purchased align with operational necessity and defined usage requirements.
  • Reduce stockouts of critical MRO items by 50% by establishing minimum/maximum inventory levels, supplier lead-time tracking, and critical spare classifications by year-end.
  • Increase contract and preferred supplier compliance to 90% of all MRO purchases by enforcing approved sourcing channels and reducing spot buys and unauthorized purchases.
  • Reduce emergency or rush-order purchases by 30% through improved forecasting, planned maintenance coordination, and inventory optimization by Q4 2026.
