The primary responsibilities will be supporting the procurement department in data analysis, communication, assisting in developing data supported efficiency improvements, and supplier development. Essential Functions: 1. Cost Savings and Efficiency Projects – 35% Collect and analyze site-wide data, including defining, measuring, and tracking categories for spending to support procurement decision-making Extensive communication between intercompany suppliers, buyers, and design. Create and update detailed process instructions to support risk management and efficiency. 2. Supplier/Product Setup and Maintenance – 35% Assist purchasing create new products with supporting data and check for duplicates. Assist purchasing create new suppliers and assist in supplier assessment. Review old products, correct setup issues, add missing data 3. Other – 30% Occasional buyer support including placing purchase order requests, negotiating, etc. Detailed report review Monitor and adjust safety stock levels based off usage and lead times
