About The Position

This role involves assisting the Material Person craft and others in performing job tasks related to material handling and inventory management within an industrial construction setting. The position requires attention to detail in receiving, storing, retrieving, and delivering materials and equipment, while adhering to safety procedures and company work processes.

Requirements

• Requires 6 months of industrial construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with Material Person craft and others to perform job tasks.
• Inventories against purchase order to ensure proper equipment and materials are received in satisfactory condition.
• Stores, retrieves, loads, and unloads all types of materials from storage bins, pallets, and vehicles.
• Works from ground or aerial devices.
• Moves materials from the warehouse and prepares them for delivery to the jobsite.
• Pulls materials for jobsite requirements or material move requests.
• Stores equipment in designated areas and maintains appropriate records.
• Keeps a running log of all consumable items used and reorders as needed.
• Retrieves and issues materials upon receipt of material requests and maintains appropriate records of movements.
• Maintains warehouse locations, including main, remote, or tool room, by sweeping, painting, cleaning, etc., as required.
• Adheres to all safety procedures.
• Adheres to Bechtel Standard Work Processes and Procedures (SWPP’s).
• Participates in STARTT Card discussions on a daily basis.
