About The Position

Lear Corporation is seeking a Material Ops Mgmt. Supervisor II to plan, schedule, and manage the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to production. This role involves developing raw material requirements and scheduling requirements from engineering specifications and production schedules, and planning and managing material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production. The position may utilize Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems, negotiate lead times with suppliers, manage schedules for timely delivery, and potentially be responsible for maintaining inventory control of equipment parts. As a Team Leader (M2), this role supervises professional-level employees (typically entry or experienced level) and may also supervise some para-professional employees, setting goals and objectives for team members for the achievement of operational results. Problems faced may be difficult but typically are not complex, and the supervisor ensures policies, practices, and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers, and stakeholders.
