Advanced Roofing, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Material Handling Supervisor to oversee warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and accuracy in material management. This role involves leading a team, managing inventory, coordinating with construction teams, and maintaining a compliant and organized warehouse environment. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience (required)
At least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role (required)
Experience handling roofing and HVAC materials (required)
Minimum 18 years of age
Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
Successful Pre-Employment Drug and Agility tests
Ability to lift 100 LBS or more
Successful Background Check
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and warehouse management systems
Ability to conduct accurate inventory counts and maintain high accuracy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to pass a background check and maintain a drug-free culture

Nice To Haves

Technical training, certifications, or college degree (preferred)
Previous construction industry experience (preferred)
Forklift certification (preferred)
Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Supervise and train warehouse staff on operations, safety, and equipment use
Lead daily huddles to review schedules, safety, and workflow
Oversee inventory control, cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation
Maintain 98% inventory accuracy through consistent monitoring and controls
Track expiration-sensitive materials and communicate usage priorities
Ensure pick lists are completed accurately and materials are loaded/unloaded safely
Communicate with construction teams to coordinate material needs
Audit receiving procedures and inspect incoming goods for accuracy and quality
Operate and oversee forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
Ensure warehouse and facility remain clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant
Coordinate repairs and report maintenance needs to the Fleet & Equipment team
Enforce safety procedures and compliance with OSHA, state, and federal regulations
