About The Position

Jowat Corporation has an opening for a Reach Truck Operator on their night shift, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am on a 2-2-3 schedule. The Reach Truck Operator is responsible for pulling all orders for materials to and from the production floor and maintaining a high level of housekeeping in the warehouse. The Jowat Group, a medium-sized, family-owned enterprise, is one of the top adhesive manufacturers around the world, known for its leadership in adhesive technologies and innovations. Requirements

  • High School Diploma

Responsibilities

  • Completes all transfer orders by scanning to machines in a timely manner.
  • Return raw materials, packaging, remix, etc. to a storage location when they are no longer needed by scanning.
  • Maintain a high level of housekeeping in warehouse including taking out trash, old pallets etc.
  • Work with operators when in the process of changing over to a different product.
  • Assist production employees when possible to ensure production does not stop.
  • Perform other jobs as required by supervisor.
  • Scan all material that is sent down the conveyor to be placed away either in the mobile racks or flow racks.
  • Pull all open transfer orders for shipping by scanning and placing at correct dock material is assigned.
  • Send up all repacks/remixes that is requested by materials management.
  • Put away all raw material that is received by receiving down in the DC.
  • Complete all transfer orders by scanning to the conveyor for production in a timely manner.
  • Make an effort to complete all work orders by the end of your shift.
  • Forklift inspection before every shift.
  • Write down any material that will not scan on material transfer sheet to be placed away.
  • Plug in the forklift at the end of your shift.
  • Report any damages to finished goods.
  • Report any issues to the conveyer belt.
  • Report any unsafe working conditions.
