About The Position

This role involves the safe operation of overhead cranes, forklifts, and related equipment for receiving, moving, cutting, storing, and distributing materials. The Material Handling Equipment Operator supports production and shipping operations by ensuring accurate material handling, effective inventory control, and strict adherence to all safety standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Safely operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and shear equipment
• Load and unload trucks and transport materials throughout the facility
• Move materials (Steel, racks, pallets, baskets, etc.) through each stage of production
• Supply production lines with required materials and remove finished or in-process goods
• Stage and position materials to support workflow and production efficiency
• Follow verbal and written instructions for material movement and production needs
• Perform routine equipment checks and report any issues
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Perform all other duties as assigned
