About The Position

Symbia Fulfillment Services of NV is seeking a creative and dynamic Material Handling Equipment Operator to perform various warehouse activities. This role offers opportunities for growth, increased earning potential, and learning new skills. Responsibilities include operating equipment such as Forklifts, Cherry Pickers, Reach trucks, and Pallet Jacks, as well as performing receiving, data input, sorting, loading, unloading, packaging, and scanning of products. The role also involves inventory management, organizing, processing, and pick/pack/ship duties. A strong attention to detail is required for inspecting products for defects and reporting damages.

Requirements

  • Previous experience operating warehouse equipment is necessary.
  • Strong working knowledge and prior experience with warehouse data systems.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent inventory skills.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50lbs.
  • Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and good depth perception.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time (at least two hours straight, four times in an eight-hour day).
  • Ability to twist, bend, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level, and crouch on a frequent basis.
  • Ability to use hands and feet simultaneously for repetitive movements.
  • Ability to get on and off industrial lift equipment on a regular basis.
  • Ability to work in an environment with occasional extreme temperature shifts, loud noises, dust, moving mechanical parts, and moving equipment.
  • Must be able to work with heights when operating certain equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma is preferred, but a GED and prior experience is acceptable.
  • 1-2 years of prior experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Process, pack, and ship orders accurately and timely.
  • Utilize RF guns for direction.
  • Operate equipment such as Forklifts, Reach Trucks, and Cherry Pickers.
  • Maintain inventory of products and help to restock or replenish.
  • Inspect products for damages and report findings to your supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
  • Receive and appropriately sort and store incoming products.
  • Prepare products for shipping and ensure accuracy against packing slips.
  • Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
