About The Position

a2b Fulfillment is a fast-growing, third-party provider of distribution support services, including Order Fulfillment, Contact Center Solutions, and a vast array of Value-Added services. We are currently recruiting for the position of Material Handler for our Ogden, UT location. All candidates must satisfactorily pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

Requirements

Forklift Operator experience: 1 year (Required)
Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions
Comply effectively with company work and safety rules.
Continually meet assigned production standards.
Trained and certified to operate any required equipment.
Basic computer knowledge
Possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Able to stand, sit, kneel, bend for extended amount of time
Work at a quick pace
Must have ability to lift or move at least 40lbs
Must be able to work independently and as a team
Self-directed and self-motivated
Comply with company attendance policies
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations
Be at least 18 years old

Nice To Haves

Standup, Sit-down and Cherry Picker Forklift experience (Preferred)
Receiving experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

Retrieve and transport product to assigned slots in pallet racking using forklifts
Identify product to be selected, sorted and placed
Follow aisle specifications for product sorting and placement
Properly enter assigned product for each shift into the system
Maintain a quality of work that limits mispicks, shorts and damages
Ensure that aisles and racks are clean and organized, and that all empty pallets are in designated areas
Other duties as assigned
