About The Position

Skilled Trades Partners (STP) is a growing organization focused on delivering innovative material handling, conveyor, and automation solutions to manufacturers, distribution centers, warehouses, and industrial facilities throughout New England. As we continue to expand, we're seeking a driven Material Handling & Conveyor Sales Representative to help grow our customer base and strengthen relationships with existing clients. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships, solving operational challenges, and working directly with customers in industrial and manufacturing environments.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of B2B sales experience
  • Strong interest in industrial equipment, material handling systems, manufacturing, or automation
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and virtually
  • Strong problem-solving and consultative selling skills
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and opportunities simultaneously
  • Willingness to travel to visit customer facilities and project sites

Responsibilities

  • Conduct business-to-business sales activities both in the field and from the office
  • Develop and maintain relationships with warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, and logistics decision-makers
  • Identify opportunities for conveyor systems, material handling equipment, automation, and related solutions
  • Perform site visits and facility assessments to understand customer workflows and operational challenges
  • Collaborate with engineering, project management, and installation teams to develop customized solutions
  • Prepare proposals, quotes, and presentations for customers
  • Manage the sales process from prospecting through project completion
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and project scope
  • Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the customer relationship
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and regularly update CRM records
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to generate new business
